About the Artist

Artist, Sara Porter, started Saragraphics in 1981 so she could work at home while raising her son, Isaac. Having lived and studied on three continents, Sara's art has been strongly influenced by the traditional art forms of many cultures. By integrating images from these cultures into her work, Sara creates "visual celebrations" of the diversity of life to share with everyone. Beyond the compelling beauty of these art traditions lies their capacity to influence people on a deeper level. Sara seeks to create images which are inspiring and uplifting, with the hope that people will feel that they walk in beauty even though it's just a Tee shirt they may be wearing.

Seattle's colorful Pike Place Market has been the main outlet for Saragraphics for over 22 years. Sara's designs have been best sellers with a large, diverse audience from all over the world. Over the years Saragraphics has grown with the help of many people who have assisted with the business, shared the vision and enjoyed working in a cooperative, creative environment. All designs are printed with non-toxic water-based textile inks and natural fibers are used in all products except for the aprons which are 60% cotton due to apron fabric availability.

Above all we want happy, satisfied customers who feel good about their experience with Saragraphics and receive products they will enjoy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will refund your money or exchange it for another item. We encourage your input and suggestions so please feel free to help us evolve and learn through your input.
